Welcome to L’R de Ré, a 19th-century guest house in the heart of the village of Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, on the Ile de Ré.
Five guest rooms and a studio open onto a large leafy garden with a pool, a 7-minute walk from the beach.
Homemade breakfast is included, from €80 to €125 a night, all year round.
In July and August, the whole house is let by the week, for up to 10 guests.
A characterful 19th-century house, renovated and decorated by ourselves, in a quiet part of the village.
Before we arrived, four generations of doctors lived here.

The rooms
Five guest rooms and a studio, spacious and full of light, for 10 guests in total.
Two rooms have their own private bathroom.
The four double rooms can be paired with L’Escale, a small twin room that is ideal for children.
The holiday house
In July and August, we let the whole house by the week: 250 m², a large leafy garden and the pool, for up to 10 guests.
On the ground floor, a large living room, a fitted kitchen, a TV lounge, a study and a patio. Bikes, a barbecue and table tennis are waiting for you in the garden. From €3,600 to €4,500 a week depending on the period.
Breakfast
All our breakfasts are homemade, with love.
They are served in the garden or in the dining room, and included in the price of the night.
Bernard usually serves it, but the jams are Valérie’s speciality!
The Studio
Separate from the house, in the middle of the garden and close to the pool,
the studio has a double bed, a small shower room, a kitchenette and a seating area.
Its wide glass doors open onto the garden.
Around Sainte-Marie
Sainte-Marie beach is a 7-minute walk away and the summer market 5 minutes away. The beach, the shops and the thalassotherapy centre are easy to reach on foot or by bike, and Saint-Martin-de-Ré and La Flotte are less than 10 minutes away by car. We will happily share our favourite restaurants and places.
